Blade compatibility

The Vertex is designed specifically for Tajima V-REX II blades (standard V-REX blades also work). The knife is supplied without a blade due to legal restrictions.

Why we created the Vertex

We designed the Vertex utility knife with precision and functionality in mind. At just 90mm long, it's a compact tool for intricate work where a conventional utility knife can feel unnecessarily large.

After testing a range of utility blades, we selected the Tajima V-REX II as the basis for the design. Variations in manufacturing tolerance between blade brands can introduce unwanted movement, so the Vertex was refined specifically around the V-REX geometry to keep the blade secure and controlled during use.
