Our letter stamp sets have been designed to allow personalisation of leather items with a range of techniques. Please note, this guide features general information about using the letter set, and we recommend following our other leather stamping guides for methods of application as these apply to the letter sets too, with the exception of the leather branding guide - we do not recommend heating the letter sets with a blowtorch or our electric heaters intended for wood branding (an electric heat gun is fine!).
Things needed:
- Alphabet Set
- Arbor press (recommended if stamping lots of letters, particularly with chrome tanned leather)
- Heat gun if using the arbor press method with chrome tanned leathers and many characters
- Hot foiling machine (if you wish to hot foil)
The characters can be slid in easily from the side as shown. Use the markings on the rail to help with character alignment.
Ensure the letters are centred using the alignment marks on the face of the rail. This is important to ensure an even impression when stamping.

Hot foiling machines may also be used, note a 5MM screw/rod and nut will be required to attach the rail to the common machines on the market.
